JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive development of new business by applying existing value propositions to existing and new customers.
• Proactively develop market by engaging with new and potential customers and distributors.
• Grow the sales pipeline by acquiring new sales prospects / application(s) using either existing or new value propositions.
• Ensure commercialization of the opportunity pipeline together with account management or the distributor.
• Support development of new business by adjusting existing value propositions and design support to existing and new customers.
• As part of the commercial organization get technical approval from customers / end users in the region.
• Translate customer and application requirements into product specifications to recommend existing products.
• Predict critical failure modes in our customer's applications and relate them to marketable material and design solutions. Understand the value added and use to differentiate the service.
• Call in specialist supports when required.
• Make proposals regarding optimum grades, processing and design.
• Assess, initiate and pursue IP opportunities in application development.
• Collect and report on competitor products and developments at customers.
• Adjust existing value propositions to specific customer needs and / or applications.
• Spot and report on new commercial opportunities from the market, and specifically at customer's sites.
• Manage both internal and external international contacts/networks related to existing technologies to be able to focus on application technology development.
• Create understanding of a wide range of relevant technologies and businesses.
• Manage conflicting business interests among competing customers.
• Match customer requirements with DEP capabilities.
• Manage effectively the opportunities and the pipeline.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimal Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering plastics, injection moulding and/or the industry.
• Fluent in English & a language of the local region (Vietnamese)
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Korean or Japanese
• Experience with Korean and/or Japanese Supply Chain players a big plus.
• Know-how of Vietnamese industry and markets, and in-depth know-how about products, applications and competitive material specifications and applications.
• Technical sales / marketing /market development background preferred.
• Excellent communication, language, and social skills
• Experience : 3-5 years
