Job description
Purpose:
- Liaise between business users and IT on business requirements, system selection and implementation of solution delivery.
- Deliver and maintain business applications which support transformation & growth of the SHOEfabrik business. Stakeholder management will be a key feature of your role, as is working in a matrix environment utilising resources across IT and SHOEfabrik in general.
- Maintain and develop all IT Services.

- Good knowledge of application / and solution development, particularly using Web technologies.
- Good knowledge of business and IT transformation.
- Specific knowledge in one or more of the following areas: PLM, finance, HR, ERP, Websites.
- Use business and data analysis techniques to support problem solving.
- Understand our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve business users.
- Experience within the Apparel and Footwear, or manufacturing industries would be an advantage.
- Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologies.
- Matrix management.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of using MS SharePoint as a core platform for document sharing and workflow.
- Technical Skills: Detailed and demonstrable hands-on knowledge of O365, MS Server 2018, MS Exchange, Windows, OSX, SharePoint, Network Configuration and security.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT industry in similar roles.
Area of Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage any direct reports, maintaining their motivation, workload and high-quality delivery.
- Collect and analyse user requests and business requirements, where appropriate, develop and propose solutions and deliver those solutions to provide tangible business benefit.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, IT environment and application systems as required to feed into system enhancements, selection or development.
- Write and agree functional specifications with business users.
- Responsible for maintaining system and data security architecture and integrity.
- Responsible for maintaining server and network architecture and integrity.
- Support delivery of Business and IT Transformation Programmes as required.
- Effectively manage assigned projects, working with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and in budget.
- Deliver technical hardware, software and services projects within the IT Teams remit.
- Effectively manage Web / software development.
- Carry out technological research and recommend information technology strategies by studying organisation goals, strategies and practices and projects.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending appropriate training, events etc.
- Assist with any technical server and desktop support issues as requested by Management.
- Deliver solutions in a structured, controlled and professional manner with high quality results.
- Support the users via training and on-going solution support as appropriate.
