JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

*Position Purpose 

- The Consumer & Business Insight Manager helps management to identify and prioritize

business opportunities for a profitable growth. This position reports to the General Manager

and works closely with the Regional Functional Partner to enable the country business

strategies are grounded in appropriate consumer and business insights and foresight to balance

risks and rewards.

 

Principal Accountabilities 

* Consumer and Business Insights

- Manage consumer and business insight and responsible for developing innovative research

techniques and systems which predict or measure causes of sales progress or identifies sales

and profit building opportunities as well as enables to better understand stakeholder needs

and expectations now and in the future

- Deliver facts based overall business performance and business trend insights and provides

recommendations for adjustments to maximize business potential

- Identify and develops sales and profit building initiatives, sales forecasting and business

cases

- Utilize identified research tools to better understand consumer/ market/ trends in the market

- Advise all departments regarding research design based upon experience in qualitative,

quantitative and analytical tools

- Oversee testing, validation, and delivery of key measurements on country initiatives.

- Leverage cost economies of scale and time by using secondary research as well as

international learnings and supports and manages pan area research and information system

initiatives

- Responsible for the consumer and business insight budget

* Reporting

- Monitors and reports business performance as well as the progress of key success criteria

within the business plan and strategies

- Responsible for periodical business updates to the Management team and regional/ global

team including clear analysis/theories as to changes and for actual business forecasting.

- Presents/report Business Reviews to management and other key stakeholders

* Strategy

- Serve as a member of the country planning team to lead the delivery of objective consumer

and business insights and emerging trends that shape priorities for the country business

plan.

- Advise Function Leaders to build a deeper understanding of significant business

performance and opportunities based on business & research insights

- Responsible for assessing business performance results identify “what is working /what is

not working” from a consumer standpoint, and provides key insights into the company

direction.

- Base on relevant data to provide clear direction regarding the strengths and weaknesses of

the brand and defines key threats and challenges.

- Anticipate research requirements and develops and short & long term plans and processes

to best meet information needs

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor degree in Business or related field required. Master Degree would be preferred

- 7+ years’ experience (with 2+ years in managerial position) in business insight and consumer

research

- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

- Strong logical mindset with sharp analytical skills, experience in qualitative and quantitative

insights

- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, consumer behavior, and current trends in F&B

industry

- Excellence with data sources, research methods, and tools in capturing consumer sentiment,

consumer feedback, and the analysis of consumer behavior

- Experience in working cross functional i.e. Marketing, Operations/Sales, Finance to use

consumer feedback to shape experiences and business outcomes; excellent skills in translating

data & analysis into business conclusions

- Experience providing guidance, expertise and recommendations to senior leaders.

- Desire to manage a complex portfolio of work in a fast-paced, dynamic team & business

environment

- Location: Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh city.

- Experience: 7+ years (with 2+ years in managerial position)
